Two Arms Rest
Mar 30th
Drawn in 2002. The sketch is called “Fatigued” which I drew from the Punjabi translated version of “Selected Stories Of Leo Tolstoy”. The story was “Akewe De Marre”. The book belonged to my father’s personal library in which he has many of the early Russian translated literature including Maxim Gorky, Hamzatov and Anton Chekhov.
Song is written by me or I wonder if its just a rendering. Work all day long in the farm and get soiled into soil and then lay flat on the grass under the partial shade of a tree. There will be sleep, restlessness and an eerie feeling surrounding you. That’s the destiny of my people here in Punjab, so called farmers. Its not us sitting on computers all day long who have got Earth more into relation but its them who have got more closer to the Earth. “Their body warms the Earth”
Dedicated to my father who has provided me with such sensibilities and with such books and such arts of the human kind.
AFTERTHOUGHT: My body warms the earth.
Jaguar SS1, Lagonda 4 1/2 Litre Vintage Lineart Sketches
Mar 19th
I used to draw a lots of stuff when i was in college, but nothing too serious. Here are some ramblings i did with my pencil and black ink pen. Every car lover falls for the vintage beauty once in his life, i had my share…

A concept i drew based on low roof hot rods. Ofcourse the deisgn is so stupid that if it ever gets into production, it will drink more gas then a Hummer. Eventually back then, i didnt even know the spellings of Minnesota.

Jaguar SS1 classic roof down. Oh i love the way i did those wheels…

Lagonda 4 and 1/2 litres sedan soft top

The stripped 4 and 1/2 litres convertible vintage made for racing back in 1934-35. Notice the re-inforced chasis.

Yamaha Royal Star Cruiser Pencil Lineart
Mar 13th

The Yamaha Royal Star Venture is a luxury touring motorcycle built by the Yamaha Motor Company. It was introduced in 1999 and was manufactured, largely unchanged, through the 2009 model year. Though Yamaha revived the Venture name which they used on the 1983-1993 Venture Royale models, the Royal Star Venture shares little with its predecessor except for the time proven liquid cooled V4 shaft drive power package. It departs from the earlier sport touring styling in favor of a classically styled touring look.
I totally fell for its huge engine block and drew it back in 2000. Done entirely by pencils and black ink pen. Nothing extraordinary, but worth adding here in my blog.
Concept Car Drawings + Jaguar Scraps
Mar 7th

A watercolor concept car that i draw a long time back in 1999. A decade earlier.. wow, think about it. This is where i actually began my experimenting with cars.

A lineart drawing of the Jaguar Sisters. This is again 1999. Times were great back then and drawing even such a miniature, used to give me pleasure.
Ozzy Osbourne Pencil Lineart

The man who forgets the lyrics of his songs on stage…
The man who used to have a shoe as a pet?
The man who is the father with F word…
The man who is responsible for the Ozzfest down the years…
The man who has nurtured the most notorious heavy metal bands in the last 2 decades…
….few reasons to adore this living devilic demon something something… back in 2001 i was under the spell…
Wayne Static (Static-X) Lineart
Mar 4th

I have only heard two songs from the Static-X so far and have been mildly.. no.. bored to death by them. But back in 2001, Wayne Static shocked me with his hairdo. Seriously now.. doesnt his head hurt in the night… my hair would cause me so much pain if i had hair like him.. Oh i forgot.. he is a meatl band… if the ripchords cant give him headache… what could measly hair do?
Rudolf Schenker (The Scorpions) Lineart
Mar 3rd

I always thought he had an Indian connection… imagine my heartache when i learned he had nothing to do with Pandit Ravi Shankar… This drawing happened a lot later my being drenched in Scorpions’ music. I was a bigger fan of Klaus Meine whose voice would give me goosebumps for no reasons specified. hence i should have drawn his face instead, but i could never find a decent image of Meine where he didnt look old – no pun intended. But i found this one of Rudolph from their Indian Tour (Oh yes they did come to India!… so what if they only perfomred in 3 cities…
On a completely off note… i wonder how long will it take for the Rammstien to come over to India. Perhaps never… we have high Benzin rates you see.
John Petrucci (Dream Theater) Lineart
Mar 2nd

Im finally understanding my drawings now… after 9 years even Bill Gates can point out the problems with Windows 98… well i wasnt impressed by all these band people, i just loved drawing guitars back in 2001… and most of all i loved drawing these guitars with their guitarists when they made those orgasmic expressions…
Im kidding.. i really know who John Petrucci is…
John Norum (Europe) Lineart
Mar 1st

A perfect orgasmic expression from John Norum of the band Europe… another band named after the continent they live in. Just glad that there are only 5 continents on Earth. But you see now bands are improvising, like now we have Asia Dub Foundation…. really what kind of antagonistic name is that?
Im still mystfied by the puzzle that whats more popular? The original Final Countdown by Europe or the Techno remix version..!! Or maybe Football is… a football song made this band popular, but really, their other songs are way better then Final Countdown…
